odds and ends
Last night I was a party animal. First I headed to an ice cream parlor to be a “celebrity ice cream scooper.” It’s a charity thing that I have done for the last 2 years and its a lot of fun but when I left, I was covered in mango-mango flavored ice cream.
I left there to get over to the Freddie thing on time. He was performing next door to the studio and it was packed. At the last minute, I was asked to do the intro for freddy and of course, I may have been a little bit long winded. I swear, ive never met a microphone that I didn’t like.
Then it back to my house for a fun filled, pimped out evening of stuffing envelopes..
Actually it was more like stuffing packages. Tshirts, bandanas, for “big al and redneck steves beer bucket.” The first batch came in and weren’t quite right so they had to be reordered…and the second batch made it in and they’re perfect. So, single handedly, I stuffed I don’t know how many oversized envelopes and boxes with tshirts and stuff and addressed the labels and im headed to the post office today to send the stuff out.
Doesn’t that sound like a night of fun???
Singledom is setting in and tomorrow will be rough. I had 2 tickets (originally for bartendica and I), to go to the kanye concert tomorrow night…(she’s off on Thursday nights) but now, well you know the rest. I guess I could ask steve to go but two guys at a concert is a little gay! (not that theres anything wrong with that!) I’ll keep you posted.

You should take Kellie to the concert. I’m sure Uncle Daddy wouldn’t be jealous…or maybe he would…lol…hope you aren’t sad for too much longer. You have the grand opening to look forward to! As far as Pete goes, I agree with some other posts when they say why would he want to work when people give him $$$ all day long. And now he has a new wardrobe thanks to you. He likes living like that, so I would just leave it alone. I would still speak to him in passing but would definitely give him any more $$$ or anything. He ruined that for himself. Take Redneck to the concert Al. Looks like you two are going to be a couple since he’s the reason that you no longer have Bartendica. Your heart is in the right place with Pete but sadly his isn’t.

I’ll come with. I was dying to go to the concert but seeing as how my boyfriend decided he wanted to move to DC 10 months ago its not like he is readily available. I don’t think that he would be able to appreciate Kanye for all of his greatness anyway. Come to think of it I went with my current boyfriend to a concert 4 yrs ago because he had tickets he had purchased for he and his ex. (hmmm!!!) Have a good day and sorry about the Bartendica.

Al, altho I know your heart is def. in the right place as far as Pete is concerned, has it ever occurred to you that Pete is perfectly happy and content living the way he’s living? I think if you keep up with this mission of mercy for him, you’re only going to become more frustrated with him and honestly it just sounds like he wants to be homeless and live in “Pete’s world” where there are no clocks and he can hang around and do whatever he wants until whenever he wants and not be accountable to anyone. I give you props for trying to help him and want better for him but it sounds like he doesn’t want better.

I don’t believe for one second that you miss Bartendica. Nor do we believe the “she was the one”. If that were true you wouldn’t have avoided confrontation and just let her walk away so easily both times. Whatever…you just saving face in case she reads your blog? Spare me…..
