big al day at the fair!
Whether you’re near or far, I got something for ya. First, for you folks that live in this area or somewhere close by, or maybe you’re planning on coming this way next weekend, October 4th. LETS GO TO THE FAIR!!!! I have state fair tickets for that day. Im getting a small group of listeners together and taking them to what is quite possibly the biggest game in black college football, which happens to be taking place at the State Fair of Texas. IM TALKING PRARIE VIEW AND GRAMBLING!!! And the game itself isn’t even the best part of this event. IT’S THE HALFTIME SHOW MAN… YOU GOTTA SEE THEM BANDS! MAN, THIS IS GONNA BE SOOOOOO MUCH FUN!!! HANGING OUT AT PRIMOS…RIDING OVER TO THE FAIR!!! WALKING AROUND THE FAIR, EATING FOODS THAT HAVE NO NUTRITIONAL VALUE AT ALL!!! PLAYING A FEW GAMES!! RIDING SOME RIDES! WATCHING THE HALFTIME SHOW!!! We will be sitting on the 50 yard line at the cotton bowl. Now, we have transportation to and from the fair taken care of.. PRIMOS on mckinney avenue will be the meeting spot as well as as the drop of spot at the end of the night… they are even providing free food at the restaurant before the game. BRING YOUR OWN MONEY FOR DRINKS AND FUN AT THE FAIR! HOW DO YOU WIN? its pretty dang easy…The first five pair of tickets will just be given at random to FUN listeners (or readers) i hope to have a few people with us that have never been to the state fair before. Just leave me a comment here or shoot me an email at bigalmack19@gmail.com and tell me a quick story about how fun you are…maybe even how your fun time took a really embarrassing turn. looking for fun people to have a fun night… fun people that know how to laugh, even at yourself!!! also, theres gonna be a group of 50 of us and im gonna try my best to keep it pretty even as far as the number of guys and girls going. maybe some hookups!!! who knows???
Now if you live far away, don’t worry…we haven’t left you out. we have something for you as well. But we haven’t worked out all of the details just yet. Check back here on Monday or Tuesday of next week for all of the details!

Hey Big Al!!!! I think it would be awesome to go to the State fair with you. Yes I have been before but not to the PV vs Grambling game.
My friends say Im cool to hang out with. I do like to laugh at myself I can do some embarrassing things. Well I hope you pick me:)

I have never been to the State Fair, would looovvveee to go. I love to have fun and hang around spontanious fun people. Football, I love Football!Pick me Al!! It will be all good!!

I’ve lived in Tyler for 12 years and have never been to the fair!! And the game, I love the movie Drum line! And to top it off with YOU, Big Al Mack from Kidd Kraddick, what a better way to spend a day! Sounds like a great time!

I think it would be so much fun to go to the state fair. I have never been before but would love to go. I am a pretty fun loving easy going girl. I have grown up in East Texas in a town with almost nothing to do (lived a short time in Orlando Fl) currently East Texas so what better way to spend a day then with Big Al watching Football, a great half time show (kind of into bands) and at the fair.
A really fun night that took an embarassing turn…One of many went roughly like this…a group that consisted of me and 8-12 friends were at a club having fun and ended up on stage singing and dancing with the performers (two pianist)… The embarassing part was later when me and a female friend thinking we knew the performers due to the fact we went there a bunch and we had just sang with them went to hit on the performer and he informed us he was more into the guys with us. We thought he was kidding at first then sheepishly conected all the dots.
Well that is it I know i have more embarassing stories but this will just have to do for now. Hope I get to have a Great time with you and the group.

I would love to go the game is this year. I havent been in like 10yrs. Me and my friends always plan on going, but by the time we get down there and thru traffic, the half time show is over with. So we have no choice but to just ride around the south and bop. I would have to say one the most embarrassing moment for me was when I was at cousin’s wedding and I got really drunk. I through up their backyard and the frontyard. They had to drag me in the house, and I fell asleep on the toilet naked.

Iwould love to go the the fair. I have not been in years. The last time I was there I just saw a concert and then left. I hear they come out with these new foods. I would like to try at least one thing. Im hoping I will meet new friends at the same time. I love football!!! What I reallly want to see is the half time battle of the bands. Big AL please pick me:)!!!!!!
